Most people think of luxury cars as an indulgence that people are allowed to indulge in for a few months, but this is only partly true.
In fact, the average cost of a luxury car is only about $18,000.
The average price of a hatchback or a midsize sedan is around $30,000, according to the National Association of Realtors.
To put that in perspective, if you took the average price for a luxury vehicle over the last five years, you’d get an average cost around $1,500, which is almost double the average for the U.S. economy.
So how much is the average car worth?
Here’s how the cars in the Luxury Car Club compare to their peers.
