A woman who claims car accident lawyers violated her auto warranty has filed a lawsuit against the auto repair company where she works.
Kimberly Bailes claims she was shocked to discover that her car had been replaced by a vehicle that has since been totaled.
Bailes, who lives in Texas, filed a class action lawsuit against Auto Accident Protection Corporation in July.
The suit claims the car insurance company “failed to properly disclose the damage and repairs that would have occurred had the accident occurred.”
Bailas claims she experienced significant damage to her vehicle and that she has been unable to make payments for her car since.
The suit says the company was negligent in providing the insurance policy to Bailas.
The Auto Accidents Protection Corporation said in a statement to ABC News:”This is an outrageous situation and we are currently working with the parties to fully resolve it.
We will be making no further comment at this time.”
Auto Accident Insurance Corporation is a major car insurance provider in the United States.
The company offers car and motorcycle insurance.
Bailinges has said she was left out of her car policy after the company decided to replace her vehicle.
The lawsuit says the lawsuit has been denied and that the matter is still under investigation.ABC News’ Jim Miller contributed to this report.
