Apple is reportedly planning to use artificial intelligence in a major update to its iPad line

Apple is expected to launch a new iPad mini and iPad Pro with the help of an artificial intelligence system.

According to a report from Reuters, Apple will announce the new products later this month at its WWDC event in San Francisco, and will use the technology to improve iPad performance and expand the iPad lineup with a new lineup of iPads with AppleCare+ and accessories.

According the report, Apple is also reportedly planning a major upgrade to the iPad line with a focus on a new tablet with Apple’s Neural Engine technology, which will enable Siri to understand the content of spoken language.

While Apple hasn’t released any specifics about what features will be included in the iPad mini, Reuters notes that the iPad Pro will include an Intel Core i7-8550U processor with 12GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD.

The new iPad Pro also comes with a 12.9-inch 1080p display, and an 8MP rear camera.

The iPad Pro is expected launch in early 2020, and should cost about $600.
