Northwell Emergency Care, the Northwell emergency health care facility, has been officially opened.
The health center, which has been operating for more than 25 years, is located at 707 Main St. in Northfield.
The facility opened its doors to the public Monday.
The facility’s CEO, Kim Bailes, said that she and her staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that the facility will be the best in its category.
“We have invested countless hours and resources to make this facility a top-of-the-line facility, and we know that this facility will serve our residents, our guests and our guests’ families,” Bailas said.
Bailes said that the Northfield Emergency Care facility will open its doors in early 2019, but that there are no specific opening dates.
The Northwell facility has been in operation since January 1, 1972.
The Northfield site is home to the North End Regional Hospital and a hospital that is affiliated with the University of Michigan.
